HOW YOU CAN HELP
To reach our goals and assist local non-profit organizations, we need the support of visionary community members like you - people who understand the importance of building the infrastructure behind, and capacity of, agencies working for social and economic justice, as well as addressing environmental concerns.

WHAT YOU CAN DO

Donations: We are asking current supporters and new friends to join us by making a financial contribution to our work.  It's easy to give and help when you donate through payroll deduction!  You can even direct your campaign gift to one or several specific agencies.  Look for Community Shares of Mid Ohio in your federal, state, county, and city workplaces, as well as at The Ohio State University.  If your workplace does not include Community Shares of Mid Ohio, ask your campaign coordinator how you can make a gift through donor option to COSMO or your favorite non-profit organization or call us at (614) 262-1176.

Donate your car: We have teamed up with the Volunteers of America (VOA) and their car recycling program to accept donations of automobiles, boats, and RVs to be auctioned off with any proceeds being shared by COSMO and VOA.  Call (614) 262-1176 to make arrangements for pickup of your vehicle.

Save those cans: You can both protect the environment and help us raise money by recycling used beverage cans.  Call us at (614) 262-1176 to arrange for COSMO to get either the cans or proceeds.

Introduce Community Shares of Mid Ohio: Introduce our coalition to friends and colleagues who share your interest in expanding the capacity of progressive and environmental non-profit organizations.  Encourage friends, family, and coworkers to consider giving to COSMO and our member agencies at the workplace.  Speak on our behalf to develop new or expanded workplace campaigns.  We can tailor a workplace campaign to meet the needs of employers and employees alike.

	MissionFish helps you support your favorite causes through trading on eBay!  Since 2000, MissionFish has been helping non-profit organizations raise hundreds of thousands of dollars, using an unique online auction process that turns in-kind donations into cash.  MissionFish is a non-profit service of the Points of Light Foundation.
	Network for Good is a non-profit organization dedicated to using the Web to help people get more involved in their communities - from volunteering and donating money, to getting more involved with issues they care about.
