Community Shares of Mid Ohio represents 69 community-based charities that solve a wide-range of issues in the community by providing long-term solutions for our most pressing social issues and critical community needs. Our solutions focus on prevention and education while emphasizing fairness and equality.

Community Shares encompasses some of the best charities in the central Ohio area to ensure the community at large is fully represented. As member charities of Community Shares, each charity experiences a thorough application process that ensures certain standards are met.

Reviewing and certifying our member charities allows Community Shares and our member charities to defend human and civil rights, feed the hungry, build affordable housing, prevent family, youth, school and neighborhood violence, preserve the environment, and increase health, safety, education, social justice and democracy in our community.
