• Buy local: Try to make your purchases from local farmers or local businesses. By doing so, you help create sustainable communities.
   

• Know your neighbors: Get involved in your neighborhood is easy. Meet your fellow neighbors. Start or join your local neighborhood block watch.
   

• Spay/Neuter: Help reduce the pet population and the number of homeless animals.
   

• Vote: The biggest way to make change is to vote during election season. Make your voice heard!
