Start a New Workplace Giving Campaign

Are you interested in having Community Shares at your workplace? We have developed a simple five-step process to launch a new workplace giving campaign for your employees. Community Shares wants to help every step of the way. Contact our Executive Director at director@communityshares.net for additional information or to start a campaign today!

Five-Step Process: Workplace Giving at Your Company

1. Set a date

Invite Community Shares to start or join your workplace giving campaign at your business. With more than 15 years of experience, we tailor campaigns to meet employer and employee needs while increasing support for more community programs and services.

2. Distribute

Community Shares delivers posters, brochures, pledge cards and giveaway items for distribution in your office. Simply distribute the items to your employees and encourage them to give back to their community!

3. Involve

Get employees involved and interested. Invite Community Shares or a representative from a member charity to give presentations to your employees about the organizations Community Shares represents, how every donation can make a difference, and how employees can volunteer or be advocates in the community.

4. Collect

Employees can designate the Community Shares member charity or group of charities of their choice to receive support through their donation. Your business collects the pledge cards and sends the contributions to Community Shares. Your payroll department can help with this process.

5. Share

Community Shares disburses contributions from your employees directly to the charity or charities they choose to support. These contributions provide steady, continual funding to local charities.
